About Me

I’m Kimberly Castro, a recent graduate in Digital & Integrated Marketing Communications from Arizona State University, where I also completed the honors program at Barrett, The Honors College, and earned a minor in Design Studies.

Growing up in a proud Latin household as the first in my family to graduate from college, I learned early on the value of resilience, passion, and taking chances. My parents’ example taught me that it’s always better to try than to live with regret — a motto I carry with me in everything I do, whether in life or in my career.

Creativity has always been at the root of who I am. From drawing and painting in my early stages to experimenting with makeup, and now photography and design, I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics and the power of visual storytelling. I bring that same creative spirit into my work in branding, marketing, and content creation — helping people and businesses show up authentically and connect with others in meaningful ways.

I’m also fascinated by the role of technology in creativity, especially how AI can be used ethically to support and inspire new ideas.

Hobbies & Passions

When I’m not working on a project, you’ll often find me hiking, at the gym, traveling to new places, or capturing picturesque views — from museums to breathtaking, ethereal sights. I also love exploring films and shows from around the world, which helps me stay curious, culturally aware, and inspired by different perspectives.
